The Journey

An extensive usability study uncovered visitor pain points on Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s former website, a product that had become outdated and was not reflective of the world-class 5-Star experience guests have on the resort. So the Dana team got to work on a brand-new responsive website that would live up to Kiawah’s brand identity in aesthetics and user experience.

The Destination

The new home page immediately engages site visitors with an aspirational full-screen video that perfectly captures the Kiawah experience. Visitors are then driven down to five verticals that funnel them by interest. The site is easily navigable through a sleek hamburger menu. On interior pages, thoughtfully curated content, custom sub-navigation bars and smart filtering functionality intuitively guide users deeper into the site to the content they’re seeking.
