Media Planner and Buyer
Dana Communications is looking for an experienced Media Planner and Buyer to join our team in the Princeton NJ office.
The Media Planner/Buyer works closely with our Account, Traffic and Creative Teams to plan and execute media plans that grow brands and drive conversion. A solid understanding of media strategy, planning, buying, analytics and post-buy analysis is required.

Responsibilities
- meeting with clients to understand goals and target audiences
- analyzing and researching purchase behavior and media usage
- developing contacts with media
- advising the creative team and clients about the most effective media combination
- considering timing of media activities, based upon usage patterns and seasonal factors
- presenting media proposals to help clients to reach decisions about advertising plans
- obtaining the best advertising rates that fit with the agreed media strategy
- monitoring and presenting new options to clients
- recommending adjusting media schedules in response to tracking and results
- managing budgets and maintaining clear spend records
- monitoring, optimizing and updating clients on the effectiveness of campaigns
